My research aims to understand the influence of climate on how organisms perform and where species are. In February 2018 I started a new postdoctoral fellowship at the CLIME lab at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, supported by the Claude Leon Foundation. Using a mix of modelling and field and lab experiments, I am continuing my work on the interactive effects of climate change and plant invasions on the activity patterns of a tiny tortoise endemic to South Africa. I’ll be presenting our first results at the upcoming SOTM conference.

Species on the Move 2019 is fast approaching and it promises to be an inspiring conference!
