My research aims to understand the influence of climate on how organisms perform and where species are. I am currently a full-time mother but I hope to soon be sharing my time between my son and science. My last postdoctoral fellowship was at the CLIME lab at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, supported by the Claude Leon Foundation. Using a mix of modelling and field and lab experiments, I worked on the interactive effects of climate change and plant invasions on the activity patterns of a tiny tortoise endemic to South Africa.
